I made this cake for a retirement.
It is a chocolate cake covered in chocolate buttercream with a strawberry mousse filling.
The top tier is a gluten free vanilla cake with the chocolate butter cream and strawberry mousse filling. I put a cake board between to keep cross contaminating the GF cake. The chocolate embellishments are made from semi-sweet chocolate and white chocolate. The strawberries are covered in same.
