This cake was a gift for the best new restaurant here in St. Louis, Olive+Oak. The restaurant is named after the owners’ two sons, Oliver and Oakes, who both died from a congenital heart defect at a very young age. Their restaurant is adorned with hearts to honor their sons and to represent their work with The Children’s Heart Foundation.
