Here’s the other wedding cake I made for yesterday!! Congratulations Mark and Helen!
I handmade the topper using Laped modelling paste. The beautiful bride, the handsome groom in his leathers and their little dog. The bottom tier has a little albino squirrel who has made friends with their dog, cute!
Bottom tier is royal bourbon vanilla with jam and buttercream, the middle tier was a luscious lemon sponge with lemon syrup, curd and buttercream. The top tier was yummy chocolate sponge drizzled with Bailey’s Irish cream and filled with a black cherry conserve and Bailey’s buttercream.
Roses, berries and foliage were handmade from flower paste.
I enjoyed recreating my original design and then personalising it with their topper and colours combinations and initials 😊
