A Glitzy wedding cake with wafer paper flowers. This cake tested all level of my patience. It was pouring all day,my AC breaks down, the fondant is so sticky that painting gold on the fondant seemed impossible. Somehow managed to do gold on the cake, then comes the next, stencilling on the gold. The stencil would stick on the gold and won’t come off. The only thing that I was comfortable with was the wafer flowers. I am so glad I decided to do wafer flowers instead of gumpaste flowers, otherwise by the time I had reached the venue with the cake, the flowers would have been on the floor.
