I made this for the graduating HS student at work for her family party. They were happily surprised at the Indian style. I used 6" card board covered in fondant for the top & the Wilton Sports Ball pan for hat. Pre-mixed gold cake lace. I found an Indian style mold with several different molds & used the one for the trim on the hat. I had such trouble making the lace. I remember having trouble with this mat when I used white. I had to keep putting it back in the oven this time. Next time, I’ll bake it longer to start with this mat. If anyone has any tricks using this mat, let me know!
