I made this for a friend’s daughter’s birthday. One of 2 cakes. Usually I will make a 2 tier with an 8" & 6" but she was having dinner with a dozen friends & then celebrating home with the family so I made this 8" to go out with the friends. I used pre-made hibiscus. The cake actually was looking Indian style until I put the flowers on top. I guess it was the hot pink fondant. I used pre-mixed gold lace & it worked beautifully on this mat. I had to bake it a few minutes longer.
