I love AHS, one of my favourite seasons is hotel and I absolutely loved the “mattress monster” teaser poster so I used that as my inspiration for my collab piece. Had such a fantastic experience being a part of this amazing collaboration with such incredible artists.
My piece is made from rice crispy treats covered with royal icing, modelling chocolate and fondant, which was then airbrushed before smaller details were handpainted, the background is two covered & airbrushed cake drums.
Just for fun the first photo is the face from my piece on top of the original show teaser poster, I thought it would be fun to see my piece and the original merged together, the remaining photos are with the fondant/cake drum background.
