GLAMOROUS  means beauty and  excitement.  It’s derived from the Scottish  word "gramarye " meaning magic  ,  enchantment  ,  spell  .
To me GLAMOROUS  means something classic but sexy ,  for example : Marilyn Monroe  – now she  …  with her looks , charm and trademark red lipstick  …  was definitely glamorous  !
But then glamour is not restricted to people.  Anything luxurious  ,  sophisticated and with a tad bit of glitz could be GLAMOROUS.
I find glamour in luxurious interiors ,  a piece of furniture , a classic piece of jewellery  …. a pair of gold Christian Loubotin shoes  ( I don’t own one but I would die for a pair ) .
The Red sole … a stroke of genius – so sexy and so … ummm … GLAMOROUS !
I have tried to incorporate all of these in my cake .
I have hand painted Marilyn Monroe’s  facial sketch ( hope there is a resemblance ) and handwritten synonyms for the word GLAMOROUS.
For the 2nd tier I have used Marble effect with inlay work in gold and silver … it was back breaking but totally loved doing this.
And the top tier has been decorated in wafer paper techniques  using edible glitter sugar and dregees. 
For the topper I created a gumpaste Christian Loubotin shoe. … a 1st for me and was extremely apprehensive of replicating a Loubotin , I tried the best I could .
I hope I have done justice to the theme.
