I did this cake July 2016 for a friend’s daughter The Bride is Native American & the groom Mexican. They wanted their cake to reflect a blending of their ethnicities & interests. The main cake was a super lemon citrus cake, with a raspberry cream cheese filling… The 3X layer side cakes were my first “naked cakes.” Made with dark Chocolate-Chocolate-Chip layers, plus the raspberry cream cheese filling- together, it tasted just like chocolate acai berries!

It’s fun to interview the bride &/or groom a bit, pick up on their key-words or event theme, and incorporate certain facets of their interests into each event dessert.
For example, this couple wished their cake could incorporate elements of the bride’s native American heritage…
