I made this 8" cake as a surprise for my sister who was celebrating her 70th birthday. The cake is vanilla Madeira with raspberry & vanilla buttercream filling, covered in Masa Ticino fondant. The ‘soil’ is grated dark chocolate. I took inspiration for my cake from a design by Janette McPherson Cake Crafe.
