It was a pleasure to me to be amongst such talented artists.

My inspiration is the painting of an autistic artist Michael Tolleson “Flamenco on fire”. I saw this painting and instantly fell in love. There is so much intense feelings in it – you can literary see the passion and the fire in it. I love modelling and saw it as challenge to make a figurine with so much attitude. Her position is telling us a story and I wanted to recreate it in sugar. It was such a pleasure to work on this cake, because it was totally different then what I use to make.

I use Royal Icing for the cake and to paint on the cake.
The Figurine is made free hand out of modelling paste Saracino.
