My Silver Award Winning entry at Cake International Birmingham.

Many long hours went into this cake. I really wanted it to stand out that’s why I’ve chosen unusual for wedding cakes colour scheme.

Bottom tier made out of narrow strips of fondant, each individually draped….

Black bass relief tier made using many different moulds. Very small, some even tiny moulds…

Middle tier with beautiful stencil made with royal icing and then hand painted with copper Rolkem…

Wafer paper tier with amazing texture…

Top tier with tiny bit of bass relief and leather texture.

And floral composition to top it all of!

The final effect was way beyond my expectations and much better than I imagined it!

Feel really proud of this and over the moon with the award! And it was my first time entering the competition :-)
