My contribution towards Cakerbuddies Children’s Storybook Collaboration is Jack and the Beanstalk as a sugar art .
I have used various techniques and mediums in my work . Royal icing , pastillage , sugarpaste , waferpaper and pulled sugar are the mediums used in my design.
The castle is made from pastillage The trees and clouds are made of sugar corals. Waferpaper house was airbrushed and handpainted. The figurines are made from sugarpaste. The highlight of my design is the beanstalk made from pulled sugar. It also supports the castle without any internal support structure.
