Based on one of Beatrix’s illustrations, lots of sugar lettuce, radishes, radish leaves, and beanstalks make up Peter’s portion. Miniature sugar foxgloves, ferns, flowers, and greenery make up Jemima’s portion. The cake is also fluttering with sugar monarch butterflies, a dragonfly, and bumblebee.
