I have been so busy, so FINALLY, here is my 2D Threadcakes entry this year :)
I love this design, so it was not hard to chose! I spent 2 weeks of my free time creating the mushroom plaque out of fondant by layering pieces, creating 3D pieces, and extruding the entire border. Each border piece was placed individually! The cake underneath was just a 2 layer 8" round, vanilla bean cake with raspberry mousse and Chambord soaked raspberries, covered in a thin layer of strawberry buttercream for a semi naked cake effect :)
