Made this cake for a get together of a group of women who are into organic living. Its a tree growing through earth. I used a threaded wire inside for support. The globe was made entirely from cake – bottom half sphere had a shell made out of solid chocolate with a hole drilled through so the wire could go through. Used fondant and modeling chocolate, wafer paper for the leaves.
