I am so pleased with this sugar paste cowboy boot cake topper and its red bandanna! Made completely freehand – no moulds or cutters – it stands about 12cm tall!
I had to make my own plan for the boot so I used pictures of cowboy boots to make it up as I went along – I think I made four boots before I had one I was happy with! :D
The two-tiered wild West rodeo-themed cake was a lot of fun to make too, vanilla cake top tier, chocolate cake bottom tier, decorated with a tooled “leather” belt and buckle, stars, horseshoes, little stetsons, and rope.
