I chose the cow; and amazing animal often thought of as “dumb” and worthless. I wanted to convey a lot of emotion in my piece. Hand painted on piped glaze with lots of raised areas for dimension. The partially unpainted cookie shows more of the glaze detail. The eye and snouts were piped in glaze then painted to create dimension. I don’t use animal products (I’m vegan), so this project was close to my heart.
