My first reveal wedding bride/grooms cake in all buttercream except a few fresh flowers. the bride had the topper. The most popular toppers of late are the black iron looking ones, that they Bride and Groom can personalize. The photo the bride sent me was a cake with fondant, and i told her i would do it in buttercream, if she would like that idea. she did, and luckily they loved the results! I stayed at the reception as we catered the food as well, so i did get to see the responses during the event, and that makes it all that much more special!
