My piece for the SUGAR SKULL BAKERS collaboration. :)

Hello Kitty decided to take a trip to Mexico City this year specifically to participate in their wonderful and very grand “Day of the Dead” parade, honoring the dearly departed. She put on some elegant Sugar Skull makeup, and decided that her usual tiny little red bow needed to be something much larger and more dramatic for the occasion. She transformed herself into a feline calavera!

I am a huge Hello Kitty fan so I had so much fun with this. Loved making her ginormous bow! This was the first time even attempting cake lace. The blue and red confetti on the cake board is also made from cake lace mix.
