This cake has a special story behind it as back in July identical twin girls were born into our family 12 weeks too early. Their combined birth weight was approx 1.5 kgs. They both battled against many health issues but, sadly, one of our twins lost her courageous fight for life after a few weeks. The other has gone from strength to strength and came home last Monday !
After an emotional roller coaster of so much joy and heartache over the past few months, Mum and Dad wanted to celebrate their birth andso today they are having a belated Baby Shower. They asked for a cake which would represent both babies, hence one pink and one white bunny.
I also believe that when a white feather is found in an unexpected place, your guardian angel has visited. Both babies will always be part of our family but the one will always be looking after her little sister. Hope they both like their cake xx
