This was for our 25th wedding anniversary. I haven’t done ANY cake for all our past wedding anniversaries and so I thought I’d make an effort this time as this is our 25th year. I have always been fascinated by rustic type of cake and I have always been wanting to try doing a birch tree themed. This occasion gave me the opportunity to do one. I’ve made the dahlias and succulents from gumpaste :)
