I believe this is the best cake I’ve made so far.
It was about 40 cms long. I handmodelled the figurine with pastillage and gumpaste. I actually made an exact copy of a picture that my client sent to me of his son (it was for his birthday, of course), I even replicated his clothes! He was so shocked :)
The tires are styrofoam covered in gumpaste. I would’ve made them with RKT, but I just didn’t have enough time. All the details are with gumpaste, except the main cake piece of course, which is covered in red fondant.
