So, some of you might have seen her already, I designed JULIETA and accompanying Tutorial for Cake Masters Magazine Floral Issue – August 2016 . Julieta is based upon another of my Cake Designs [ LUPITA ] .“Bold” was the key word.
I based it all around Clematis as it is a flower I found really beautiful and varied and it is a combination of hand painted watercolours, sugar Clematis, small hydrangeas here and there, some piping , vertical stripes to add texture under the painting and some 3D flower centres and leaves popping out of the watercolour .
Like Lupita, she is Bold and chaotic as Nature itself can be. But also I hope you find her beautiful in her own rights!
