Kooza: This was my contribution to the Cirque des Gâteaux collaboration celebrating 36 years of Cirque du Soleil. It was all hand cut, hand painted cookies with painted wafer paper to represent the quick-change costume techniques.The Trickster transforms The Innocent’s black & white world into one of color and adventure. I chose to keep the wafer paper kite drab to show the moment in between change. The Innocent cookie could be removed from his base to make the piece interactive and fun.
