This cake was made for a birthday and many components were very personalized. The sugar cameo brooch was an exact replica of the recipient’s mother’s brooch. I made a mold of the original, and then created the sugar one. The colors of the cake as well as the flower choices were all chosen to represent something personal and sentimental for the recipient- I was honored to make it for them:)
