Hand painted on glaze. I personally don’t use outlines, but I’m not against anyone doing that; Outlines just don’t work well for me because I feel restricted. I begin by just putting down some color and seeing where it leads. Things evolve, posture changes and I don’t think too much as I’m working. I do use reference photos, but usually several of varying poses so I’m not just copying. I choose to freehand all my work because that’s how I work best. I love working through my mistakes and the uncertainty of what the piece will be. I had planned to make a slideshow of still photos, but it didn’t quite work out so I made a collage.
Awesome! 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊

The Cookie Lab by Marta Torres
Thank you so much :) I’m by no means a “painter”, but I do like to play around with colors and see what happens. I’ve been drawing all my life and never thought to paint / draw on cookies until two years ago. What a fun medium!
