New Granddaughter!!

How very delighted are we all with the birth of my second granddaughter!! Pic collage below shows an emotional grandma (me) holding her for the first time… I cry with all of them when they arrive… Do any of you grandmothers cry? I feel so very blessed for each one that arrives. Can’t show full pics of her as not allowed to post on any media sites, but both she and older sister (by only 19 months) are so beautiful (words coming from a biased granny) … And she’s got red hair!! A wee copper-nut!!
As usual these days, I had to squeeze this in between things I’m working on…

I had one of my Boozy fruit cakes in stored box, Royal iced it rather quickly, then spent a day putting together a simple cold porcelain posy ( this is quicker, far easier and faster to do then sugar and daughter in law likes to keep everything I do).
Baby shoes are sugar and handcrafted with my own templates… Then a quick illustration from the many endearing books “How much do I love you” ….
In my rush I forgot to ribbon the board…never mind. It was much enjoyed along with the celebrations. We’re all so delighted to have another princess amongst us. That’s now totalling five grandchildren…. And ANOTHER ONE on the way…. 🤗🤗

That is lovely Calli, the new Princess and the cake. Both are so sweet. My 9 grands are nearly all grown now and having babies of their own. 13 Great Grands with a new one just added in April, a little Prince. I am happy for you and your family.
