Loving the simple elegance of this cake . A simple cake was requested but they wanted some gold. Had the temptation to add more but the simplicity of the final look made me stop. Had to take care to achieve perfection with fondant on the tiers as there was no other embellishments in case I needed to hide anything :) I am so glad I did . Happy to make a special event cake with gold and simple ribbons. Valuable lesson on pairing it down ! Of course I had to add my signature sugar flower on top . Happy :)
