My photographer’s son had a birthday back on 28 June. He is 5 and loves superheros, as I had limited time (again, but we all relate hey?) and also had house guests from Brazil, so I landed up with 12 hours to cover and decorate this three tier marbelled sponge (8" 6" 4") done in the superhero colours inside (waiting for pics from photographer). Handpainted in cocoa butter and ninja turtles modelled in Saracino paste. I’m lucky in that even though a slow worker, I paint fast, so that’s where I saved time. Elijah loved his cake and when I gave it to mum, she wept, awwww, touches my soul that does.
I did the cake for free as it was a gift for all the free photography they do for me. Such a lovely family who work so hard running their business (The Sitting Room Photgraphy Studio).
