My nephews birthday cake and it’s now 5 years he has wanted a dinosaur cake. Each year I try to out do the last, I think this one is my favourite. I love how it all works! The eye I’d made from saracino modeling paste and dusted using sugar flair dusts and the iris was painted.
The gates were made using Renshaws flower/modeling paste and pre coloured then dusted with a mix of brown and orange. The leaves were made from squires flower paste and pre coloured green then dusted with a mix of greens, yellow and brown.
The stones were made from Renshaws flower/modeling paste and marked up with lines and dents, flames added.
The cake is 8" and coloured to look like camouflage as I wanted the gates and eye to stand out.
