Casino Royale are my favourite movies of the Bond collection. The first, starring David Niven, was classy and sleek, and Bond was a sexy spy, without being all about the sex. Daniel Craig brought Bond back to being a sexy, classy spy, and I loved him in this movie! Okay, I just love this movie LOL.

I used Satin Ice fondant for cake and separator covering, which were airbrushed with AmeriColor Super Black, Red Red and Gold. I mixed the same fondant with Flour Confections CMC powder to make my poker chips. These were coloured with a blend of CK Powdered colours and AmeriColor gels to get the brightness without breaking down the integrity of the paste. All my cut outs, stand ups and cards were made with gumpaste using Chef Lodge’s recipe, and then hand painted using AmeriColor airbrush colours. The cards were also glazed with CK Confecioners Glaze. My beautiful sugar piece is made with CakePlay Isomalt in clear (tinted with AmeriColor Red Red gel) and gold, that were carefully kneaded together to look marbled, then pulled and cut to make the monolith the gumpaste numbers were set into.
