Melissa Seraphy was the first nendoroid I’ve ever seen. So for my friend’s birthday, i thought this was fitting as his birthday cake since he was the one who introduced nendos to me.
My friend sent a photo of the cake alongside his other figures hehe.
I carved the cake and used the scraps to form the ridges (hooray no excess!) until it sorta resembled a pumpkin, then I covered it in coloured white chocolate ganache.
Melissa-chan was drawn in chocolate. And forcibly made to stand on top of the cake haha. Since it wasn’t tempered, it definitely won’t stand in this heat. I’m thinking maybe I can use a cookie as base next time :D
Note to self: don’t use dark chocolate as base when characters are light coloured. it shows! @_o
