Falling petals wedding cake with butterflies

This wedding cake is based on my first Cake International entry. I never thought anyone would ask for it as their wedding cake so you can imagine when I was approached at a wedding fair to make a cake based on it I was chuffed to bits!
I changed the colours slightly as she didn’t want pink and added fantasy butterflies to bring in their wedding colours and theme. The bottom was a 12" fruit cake, needed husband to come and help set this one up, was so heavy!

Calli I loved the colours on this, managed to find the perfect blend and it looked so pretty before I had even assembled it. Just a row of covered cakes in pretty colours :)
