So finally it’s that time of the year that I get to celebrate my own birthday!!

I decided a while ago that I wanted to challenge myself and do something way different to my normal cakes (usually wedding cakes) so I thought why, why not something that’s from my roots, something from Africa, then I thought what, it had to be an animal but what kind of animal, I was tossing up between a Giraffe and a Rhino, then I thought well Rhino’s are in serious trouble, they are poached at an alarming rate, I was lucky enough to see one in the wild, yes just one so far in my 40 years of life (I was about 30 at the time), but I know my children will probably never get to see one in the wild, especially since we live in Australia…. So I decided, any cash that was given to me as presents would be donated to a fund dedicated to saving these gorgeous animals. Thanks for looking at him, I hope you love him as much as I do :)
