This was made for my daughter for her First Holy communion last Saturday.
She asked for a magical cake so this is the best we could come up with. She was absolutely stunned! Both my kids kept asking ‘How?!’ We just said it was magic ;)

The cake was lemon drizzle sponge filled with vanilla buttercream. I didn’t want it to be too lemony and vanilla buttercream balanced it just right. I tried edible silver leaf for the first time on the top tier and boy it looked beautiful!
She wore a long dress with white lace and pearls so the cake was made to match her dress as well.
