I made this cake for my Mum for Mother’s Day and her birthday next week. My Mum has recently taken up glass work and stained glass art again at the age of 78, she is also an incredible artist and painter. I wanted to challenge myself with the design of her cake, as I am not a fantastic painter, unfortunately I did not inherit that ability. I am very pleased with how this cake turned out and my Mum absolutely loved it.
