My abstract Swim Cake :) How do you design a cake for a high school boys’ swim team that doesn’t look too kiddish or cutesy? That was my challenge with this cake design. I wanted the cake to look like the square tiles on the pool so I decided to go abstract with hundreds of cut fondant tiles and water creeping up the side of the cake. Top it with a pair of goggles and Voila – abstract pool/swim team cake – haha!
