Wedding Cake created for a special selection of themed wedding cakes. Hundreds of moulded peals from gum paste adorn this wedding cake! Using loose edible gold leaf was the other nightmare, since in Thailand we have to have the air-con on, or the bakery gets too hot! Aagah! The gold leaf was blowing every where! We haven’t managed to find edible gold leaf (transfer sheets) in the books yet, so have to manage with the loose left. The transfer sheet would be so much easier to use.
Surprisingly all the hand modelled sugar flowers were easier to do than the hundreds of moulded pearls & using the gold leaf… they were both time consuming! But worth it in the end!
