This was a cake done for a brave young 9yr old girl who had finally lost her battle with cancer. When she was diagnosed at age 7, they had bought her a webkinz cow and they named it courage. This became her favorite toy and went everywhere with her so when asked to do her memorial cake they asked for the cow plus her favorite flower the sunflower to be incorporated and this is what I came up with. The cow is rice krispie treat, modelling choc and fondant with royal icing. I was going to make the flowers edible also but decided not to due to time. Still would have liked them to be edible but sometimes you just have to use other items and I am slowly becoming ok with that as most people really don’t care anyways.
