This ombre cake made me SOOOO nervous! I was mailed the results of a couples ultrasound appointment, which they had not seen. I then had to keep this secret until making this cake for a family BBQ they were having to share with everyone the sex of their baby. I was so nervous I was going to say something accidentally that I double and triple checked every email that was sent to the client!

The BBQ happened yesterday and when they cut the cake, it was a bright blue sponge with a blue buttercream filling. Congratulations; it’s a boy!
