I Just love Giffords circus (still running) So when Cake Carnival came to light i knew i just had to include them. I chose this iconic Jules Verne poster with Giffords own take on it. They use the famous Tweedy for their Moon Songs poster of 2015.
Using a wooden board i then started work with the Renshaws sugar paste. The face i built up in layers finally adding a skin over the top. I loved trying a few new techniques for the clouds. In the end all i needed was the paste some water and a ball tool.
