A simple slab cake that I donated to a local swim club for their swim-a-thon event. The cake is cocoa banana cake & then I made vanilla cupcakes to accompany it & allow for a choice in flavor. I went with a blue & white buttercream swirl on the cupcakes to look like ripples in the water. The cake features the swim club logo as well as the swim-a-thon logo.

I was told that the swimmers were pretty excited to see their logo on a cake & that some of them swam 5km in 2 hours!
