The little boy with our smash cake was up for something biiiiiiggg on his biiiigg day. Our biggest cake till date which weighed around 8.5+kgs . Mommy dearest wanted a design very simple and elegant, clutter free and pastel boyish shades. Selected few refernce pics from pin interest & narrowed down on this design, elements and colors. A big tick on my bucket list of designs , long waited to do a mousch cake smile emoticon
Bake make : Two tiers of moist vanilla bean flavor cake, sandwiched with lindt dark chocolate ganache. Frosted with ganache and draped with fondant. Straps, buttons, textured bow, and a No 1 topper with a moustache was used for the decor. The cake was placed on a board covered with fondant , textured and painted to give the timber effect.
