I absolutely loved making this cake! This was for a colourful wedding shoot at a local fortified manor house (that’s the official term but it looks like a castle to me!). I used a painterly style (which means you can see the brush strokes) to incorporate some super bright colours to add a modern twist to the classic gold and white on the top two tiers. The photos were taken in freezing temperatures but with the colours it looks like a summer’s day!
