This was a very special cake to me! I did it for a grand mom of a friend of mine for her 90 th birthday. I couldn´t be at my grand mom´s 90th birthday celebration and then she died soon after that. So I dedicated this cake somehow to her as well.

The cake should represent her life path. The first tier was in Allgäu in Germany, where she grew up in a castle. The earl of this castle loved hunting and she accompanied him several times.
The second tier represents Italy, where she met her one and only love. But also lost two children. ( the angel wings of wafer paper should represent them) and the last one stands for Australia, with its typical bird, where she lived the rest of her life…
