Practice Cake 7. This cake was made for my dad’s birthday. I wanted to do something simple and clean (and also give me a chance to play with ganache and try and get those pesky sharp edges!) I think this is one of my favourite cakes from last year. The writing on the side of the cake (which isn’t very clear in the photo) says Grampy and Dad. The red aeroplane cutter I used is sentimental to me as I used it on my very first cake that I made for my son’s first birthday x
