This cake was produced as part of the Cuties Children’s Books Collaboration which was released last week. This particular cake meant a great deal to me as this classic story was one my Dad and I used to share the reading of when I was very young. I recently found his copy that he won at Sunday School when he was 9 years old, which was in 1934 and this is the actual book we read together! We lost my Dad 14 years ago, so this was a lovely tribute for my hero, the man who I measure all others on and who gave me my love of reading. I do hope you like it.
