Mike and my 17th anniversary cake, February 26th. The hand painted portrait is done on fondant with petal dusts and artist’s soft pastels. It was done from a wedding photo. The cake is covered with homemade mmf, the flowers are made of gum paste. The writing on the left corner of the bottom tier says “Unchained Melody”, which was our wedding song. For me this is a celebration of spending my life with my best friend.
