I’ve been wanting to do a Minion cake for a while and when the opportunity came up for a disco themed one, well, I couldn’t pass it up! This is actually my first ever structured cake and I used the awesome tutorial from Lesley of The Royal Bakery. I think I was a bit nervous about really curving the body out but everyone who saw the cake then mimicked the John Travolta pose so I guess it came across ok! I really wanted to do a light up edible floor as well but couldn’t quite figure out the electronic side of it – one thing at a time, Hazel!! XD
